WHEREAS, the City of Foley solicited and opened bids on December 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. for one (1) new 2015, full size, four-wheel drive SUV for the Fire Department and the results are as follows:
1) Moyer Ford Sales Inc.-$32,899.00
2) Landers McLarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram - $33,005.00
3) Stivers Ford Lincoln - $33,104.60
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the lowest responsible bid submitted by Moyer Ford Sales, Inc. in the amount of $32,899.00 under Account Number 02-600-7010.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of vehicle equipment with the remaining budgeted funds in the amount of $7,101.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
