Title
A Resolution to Approving St. Paul's Episcopal Church the Use of Max Griffin Park (area around the kids park) to Host Their Summer Feed and Recreation Program
Summary
Pastor Brent Norris and the St. Paul's Episcopal church are requesting the use of Max Griffin Park (area around the kids park) to host their Summer Feed and Recreation Program on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9:30am - 5:30pm (including setup and cleanup time). As an extension of their summer feeding program that provides food during the week for children who are food insecure, they will provide a day long program (10:00am - 5:00pm) on June 25th. They will feed the children a late breakfast, lunch and then invite their parents to join us for supper. They expect the food to be prepared off site (St. Paul's Episcopal and Morning Side Baptist Church) and brought to the park. Between meals they plan to offer games, activities and bible stories. They will have a tent and PA system. They are considering a bouncer but have not decided. They are not sure how many kids will attend but they are requesting that they signup through their churches. They estimate 50 kids and 10 staff members.
