A Resolution Requesting Funding for the Replacement of the Council Chamber Seats
Summary
In the FY25 budget, the Municipal Complex Department budgeted $45,000 in Capital Projects to replace the auditorium seating in the Council Chambers. Rather than purchasing fixed seating, we would like to move forward with purchasing individual chairs, bench seating, and tables which would make this an operational purchase rather than a Capital Project. This would allow for more flexible seating arrangements and more ways to utilize the room. Therefore instead of appropriating funding to the capital project account, we are asking to appropriate funding to the operational small tools account 100-1020-6053.
