WHEREAS, On May 4, 2020, Council adopted Resolution 20-1119 Approving 2020 OWA Fireworks Display Calendar, which approved a 4th of July firework show on Saturday, July 4, 2020, and
WHEREAS, OWA is requesting approval to also include a firework show on Friday, July 3, 2020.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends Resolution 20-1119 Approving 2020 OWA Fireworks Display Calendar to allow for an additional firework show on OWA grounds at 8:45 p.m. on July 3, 2020.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
