WHEREAS, the property is valued at $55,400 according to Baldwin County Tax Records.

WHEREAS, Helen Hamburg Williams wishes to donate the H.M. Hamburg & Sons, Inc property to the City. PIN# 77210 located on Rose Avenue, which is on the north side of Hwy 98 and east of Hwy 59.
WHEREAS, the property is valued at $55,400 according to Baldwin County Tax Records, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the donation made by the stockholders: Helen Hamburg Williams, President, Kenneth Hamburg, Vice President, Don Martin Hamburg, Secretary/Treasurer, and Melba Lauder Hamburg, stockholder
of the H.M. Hamburg & Sons, Inc property ( PIN# 77210) located on Rose Avenue, which is on the north side of Hwy 98 and east of Hwy 59.
SECTION 2: The City of Foley agrees to repair the roof, and clean the grounds during fiscal year 2018, in order to end the deterioration of the building due to the roof leaks, and to ensure security of the building.
SECTION 3: The City of Foley agrees to maintain the Hamburg signage on the exterior of the building regardless of the ultimate use of the building.
SECTION 4: Over the next 5 years the City will make every effort to secure historical grants and/or fund repairs to the building such that the building can eventually be used for some public purpose as defined by the City Council.
