Christie Sachse with Apex Shows & Events is requesting to rent Heritage Park to host a Food Truck and Craft Festival and is requesting a variance to allow alcohol to be sold during the event being held Saturday, May 21, 2022. Christie will rent Heritage Park 7:30am - 9:00pm on Saturday, May 21st which will include the time needed for set up and cleanup. There will be an entry fee between $2.00 and $5.00 is what she's considering. They will have food trucks, craft/tent vendors, a live band playing all day, a bounce house, and alcohol will be sold through a non-profit organization. Christie will have staff that will be dedicated to cleaning up during and after the event. Her cleaning staff will provide trash cans and trash bags. They will need electricity. They have been advised that they will to provide a copy of their business license, liability insurance, alcohol sales license and insurance, and they will need to have off duty police officers on site due to alcohol sales if the event is approved.
