  AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE UTILITIES BOARD OF THE CITY OF FOLEY TO BETTY M. STONE

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Utilities Board of the City of Foley (“Riviera Utilities”) has by Resolution found and determined that it is in the best interests of Riviera Utilities to convey certain real property to Betty M. Stone, such property being more particularly identified and described as follows:

 

The vacant land located on Dyer Road, Fairhope, Alabama, 36532, Tax Parcel Number 46-02-09-0-000-019.000, Tax PPIN 013766 (the “Property”); and

 

                     WHEREAS, Riviera Utilities has requested that the City Council of the City of Foley consent to sale and disposition of said Property; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Foley has determined that the sale of said Property is in the best interests of the City of Foley and of Riviera Utilities;

 

                     NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Foley on this the 18th day of January, 2022 as follows:

 

1.                     That, pursuant to Code of Alabama, Section 11-50-314(a)(10) the City Council of the City of Foley hereby consents to and ratifies the conveyance of the above described Property from Riviera Utilities to Betty M. Stone upon the terms and conditions negotiated between and agreed to by Riviera Utilities and Betty M. Stone.

 

2.                     That the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in accordance with law and to furnish a certified copy of the same to Riviera Utilities at the soonest practicable date. 

 

3.                     This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its publication.
