David Vosloh has requested consideration in waiving the Land Disturbance Permit fee of $450 for the stormwater runoff detention work and site work for his development site at County Rd 20 and Fairway Dr in exchange for his willingness to include the new fire station site on Fairway Dr in the scope of work for the project.  He has also agreed to share the cost of certain infrastructure improvements needed for both sites with the City.

WHEREAS, David Vosloh has included the new fire station #3 site on Fairway Dr. in the scope of work for the stormwater runoff detention work and site planning at his development site at County Rd. 20 and Fairway Dr., and
WHEREAS, the inclusion of the City's storm water into the larger development will save the City costs associated with storm water retention and save the City usable space within the footprint of the fire station property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       Declares as a public good through the waiving of the Land Disturbance Permit fee of $450 for the stormwater runoff detention work for the site at County Rd. 20 and Fairway Dr., which includes the new fire station site.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
