DESCRIPTION OF TOPIC: After doing some more research the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) has decided it is best not to purchase just the two lenses we had placed monies in the capital budget but to purchase the equipment as per the attached sheet. This allows more equipment into more investigators that will do the same work as just the two. We are requesting $3,013.39 be transferred from account 01-608-7010 to Small Tools Account 01-608-5010 to fund this purchase. As stated we were going to purchase lenses over $1,000.00 each and that is why we put the monies in the capital side of the budget.

WHEREAS, the Criminal Investigation Division of the Foley Police Department is in need of camera equipment, and
WHEREAS, there is a budgeted amount of $3,200.00 in Account No. 01-608-7010, and
WHEREAS, $3,013.39 needs to be transferred from Account No. 01-608-7010 to Small Tools Account No. 01-608-5010, and
WHEREAS, the Criminal Investigation Division's original intentions were to purchase two (2) camera lenses in an amount of over $1,000.00 each, and
WHEREAS, after doing some research, the Criminal Investigation Division has decided it is best to purchase the following equipment in the amount of $3,013.39 from Calagas Photo and Digital Imaging:
