A Resolution Memorialize the Acceptance of the FY2026 Gulf Coast Resource Conservation and Development Council Grant
Summary
The Nature Parks Department requested permission to apply for the FY2026 Gulf Coast Resource Conservation and Development Council (Gulf Coast RC&D) Grant under 25-1168-RES. The City has been awarded the grant in the amount of $15,000 to move forward with the purchase of new trail and interpretive signage at Graham Creek Nature Preserve. Due to the limited time frame to spend the funding by August 1st, the Nature Parks Department has accepted the grant funds. Nature Parks Department requests to memorialize the acceptance of the funds and amends the budget accordingly: $15,000 in 100-5090-4112 (Gulf Coast Resource Conservation Grant) and $15,000 in 100-5090-6163 (Signs).
