In reviewing the FY14 budget there were enough funds to purchase two 4 drawer fire resistant file cabinets to replace two regular file cabinets instead of including them in the FY15 budget. They were purchased from Discount Safe Outlet in the amount of $4845.00 for the City Hall Records Room inadvertently without a prior Council approval. A purchase order (14-2552) was obtained.

WHEREAS, two fire resistant four drawer file cabinets were inadvertently purchased without prior Council approval in the amount of $4845.00 for the records room, and
WHEREAS, this purchase needs to be memorialized.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the expenditure of $4845.00 payable to Discount Safe Outlet for their invoice, which is made a permanent part of this resolution upon its adoption.
SECTION 2: Amends Account No. 01-620-7010 Capital Purchase accordingly.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
