WHEREAS, Resolution 13-0197 approved the application for the final round of the Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund to provide funding for parking and marketing costs for the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market, and
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded the grant for $182,500
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund grant in the amount of $182,500 to provide funding towards parking and marketing costs for the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market.
SECTION 2: Appoints Suzanne Kellams as grant manager.
SECTION 3: Amends the budget accordingly and approves the expenditure of grant funds under Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market Revenue Account No. 41-4900, $114,000 to Construction Expense Account No. 41-665-7200 R02 CONST and $68,500 to a new Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market expense account for marketing.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
