Transfer funds to purchase a Sonicwall in the amount of $5,754.91 from TigerDirect. This will upgrade us to an Enterprise level solution. The old units that are no longer needed will be declared surplus and sold on GovDeals.

WHEREAS, There is a need to upgrade to an Enterprise level firewall, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds to cover the expenditure, and
WHEREAS, equipment that is no longer needed will be declared surplus and sold on GovDeals.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Transfers $5,754.91 from 01-620-5611 to 01-620-7111 and approves the purchase through TigerDirect.com.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
