Consider partnering with Wolf Bay Watershed Watch to sponsor Jog the Bog 5K for Earth Day on April 13, 2013 at Graham Creek Nature Preserve. Expenses for the race are being shared and a request is being made to split profits with Wolf Bay Watershed Watch. Also, Jog the Bog and Creek Crawl event participation have surpassed what was anticipated. Request increase in budgeted event revenue of $1,700 and related event expense of $1,000 resulting in a positive $700 cash flow.

WHEREAS, the City hosts the Annual Earth Day Extravaganza and Jog the Bog 5K on the second Saturday of April, and
WHEREAS, Jog the Bog 5K requires numerous volunteers and event organization, and
WHEREAS, Wolf Bay Watershed Watch has offered to assist with expenses, organization and volunteers for the event on April 13, 2013, and
WHEREAS, the City receives all the payments for the race participation and shares all the expenses with Wolf Bay Watershed Watch, and
WHEREAS, Wolf Bay Watershed Watch requests a split of the profits from the event.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
