WHEREAS, The Horticulture Department has surplus funds in their Capital Account and desires to spend those on a sprayer and trailer, and
WHEREAS, The desire is to be able to use the surplus funds in the Capital Account for FY13 for the immediate purchase prior to the end of the FY13 Fiscal Year, and
WHEREAS, There was not another Council meeting by which to seek approval to purchase and the purchase will need to be memorialized.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the purchase of a sprayer from John Deere Landscapes in the amount of $3,949.91 to be expensed to the Capital Account 01-626-7110 in FY13.
SECTION 2: Memorializes the purchase of a trailer from B.E. Savage, Inc. in the amount of $1,100.00 to be expensed to the Capital Account 01-626-7110 in FY13.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
