They will be handing out school supplies, food, offering resources to those in need and raising money to give away to local college students. This event will be open to the public.

WHEREAS, Alicia Watts is requesting the use of Beulah Heights Park on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 2 pm - 8 pm for a Back To School Community Kickoff and Fundraiser, and
WHEREAS, they will be handing out school supplies, food, offering resources to those in need and raising money to give away to local college students, and
WHEREAS, they plan to have music (DJ), inflatable's, petting zoo and other activities for children of all ages. This event is open to the community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama , as follows:
Section 1: Approves waiving the fees for the use of Beulah Heights Park requested by Alicia Watts is requesting the use of Beulah Heights Park on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 2 pm - 8 pm for a Back To School Community Kickoff and Fundraiser.
Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
