Authorize City Engineer to execute ALDOT Revised Forms for Pedistrian Bridge
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor executed ALDOT's January 2014 version of Form MB-05 Agreement for Grading and/or Landscaping on a Right Of Way and Form MB-06A Agreement for the Cooperative Maintenance of Public Right Of Way for the Pedestrian Bridge grant project, and
WHEREAS, ALDOT requires the submittal of their revised October 2015 version of said forms, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer will need to prepare, execute, and submit the required documentation for the submittal of Form MB-06A, and
WHEREAS, Form MB-05 will be in the Morette Company’s name and will require a Power of Attorney signed by the Mayor for the Morette Company to execute and submit the required documentation for the submittal of this form to ALDOT.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the City Engineer to prepare, execute, and submit Form MB-06A to ALDOT for the TIGER Phase III Pedestrian Bridge grant project.
SECTION 2: Approves the Mayor to sign a Power of Attorney for the Morette Company to execute and submit Form MB-05 to ALDOT for the TIGER Phase III Pedestrian Bridge grant project.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
