AUTOMATIC EXTENSION OF PERMITS DURING COVID-19 EMERGENCY OPERATIONS

Body

                     WHEREAS, the City of Foley declared a state of emergency on March 16, 2020; and,

                     WHEREAS, the Community Development Department closed the lobby to the public on March 17, 2020; and

                     WHEREAS, there may be construction permits that are close to expiring;

                     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama:

Section 1:                     Automatically extends the permits for the duration of the State of Emergency plus an additional six months.  No request for extension need to be made for projects in this case.
