Summary
DESCRIPTION OF TOPIC: Requesting funding to purchase a computerized Child fingerprint piece of equipment. At most all of the Police Department Community Events Program this is by far the most visited table. This unit will save lots of time where we now take the fingerprints with ink and pad we can now just scan them right into the program. It also captures the picture prints it out on the forms given back to the parents. None of the information is kept on the system as it erases itself. Only the parents will have it on both paper and a CD and have sole control of giving it out.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of a computerized EZ Child ID fingerprint program in the amount of $4,999.00 This is a budgeted item from Account No. 01-608-7010.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
