WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing Monday, September 16, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. to hear objections and other public comments on the matter of declaring the growth of weeds, grass and other vegetative growth on property located within the City of Foley located at 1904 Bay Street .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Authorizes employees to enter upon the property at 1904 Bay Street for the purpose of abating the public nuisance.
SECTION 2:      A complete record of the cost of abating the nuisance shall be kept and a total cost shall be rendered to the City Council at a meeting following the work. The itemized cost will be posted on the Council Chamber doors at least five days before the report is rendered. The Council shall take action to immediately collect or establish a lien against the property as prescribed in the State of Alabama Code.
SECTION 3:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
