DESCRIPTION OF TOPIC: This ordinance amends City of Foley Ordinance No. 387-87 by rezoning property owned by the City of Foley from B-1A (Extended Business) and R-3 (Residential Single Family) to PID (Planned Industrial). The rezoning applies to one, +/- 121-acre parcel located at the southeast corner of North Juniper Street and the Foley Beach Express in Baldwin County, Alabama. The Foley Planning Commission recommended approval, and the City Council determined the change supports the health, safety, and general welfare of the community. The ordinance also updates the official City of Foley Zoning Map and becomes effective immediately upon adoption.
