A Resolution to Waive the Fees for the Use of the Barricades for SHOW Baldwin’s Trunk or Treat Event

SHOW Baldwin, Inc. - Special Humans Outreach & Wellness, the non-profit organization assisting families by enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs by awarding grants for medical equipment and therapies, as well as offering social events, is requesting the use of and fees to be waived for barricades to host a community Trunk or Treat, located at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant parking lot. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 5:30p.m. - 8:00p.m. The purpose of this event is for inclusive persons, including Foley resident’s to be able to trick-or-treat in a safe area. The barricades will help assistance in this greatly, especially for the little runners.

WHEREAS, SHOW Baldwin, Inc. - Special Humans Outreach & Wellness will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event for inclusive persons, including Foley residents, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 5:30p.m. - 8:00p.m.a. at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant parking lot, and
WHEREAS, we are requesting the use of and the fees to be waived for barricades.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of the barricades for SHOW Baldwin, Inc. - Special Humans Outreach & Wellness to host a Trunk or Treat event at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant parking lot on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 5:30p.m. - 8:00p.m.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
