ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 387-87 REZONING PROPERTY OWNED BY RICHARD LORD JR. FROM B3 - LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT TO RV PARK ZONE

WHEREAS, the City of Foley, Alabama, adopted Ordinance No. 387-87 on June 15, 1987, ordaining a new Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map for the City of Foley which has subsequently been amended, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of this rezoning, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley has received a request that specific property within the City be re-zoned, and the City Council of the City of Foley deems it necessary, for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the City to amend said Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, all requirements to the laws of the State of Alabama, with regard to the preparation of the report of the Foley Planning Commission and subsequent action of the City Council have been met,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOLEY, ALABAMA while in regular session accepted the following changes:
Section 1. That the official Zoning Map of the City of Foley, Alabama be amended to rezone the portion of property previously zoned B3 - Local Business District to RV Park - RV Park District said property description as follows:

Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 26, T7S-R4E, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence run S84°13'41"W 404.44 feet to a point on the South right of way line of U.S. Highway No. 98; thence run S00°04'02"E 518.54 feet to the point of beginning of the property herein described; thence continuing S00°04'02"E run a distance of 777.21 feet to a point; thence run N89°57'34"W 168.14 feet to a point; thence run N00°04'02"W 777.21 feet to a point; thence run S89°57'34"E 168.14 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 130,680 Square Feet or 3.00 Acres, more or less.
