An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance 13-1030 Ratifying Resolution 06-16-80 that Established the Library Advisory Board

Council may choose to suspend the rules for the immediate adoption of this ordinance.
Body
WHEREAS, during the regularly scheduled Council Meeting of April 15, 2013, Council adopted Ordinance 13-1030, which ratified Resolution 06-16-80, adopted on March 18, 1957 that established the Library Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, during the regularly scheduled Council Meeting of June 16, 1980, Council adopted Resolution 6-16-80, which designated the Library Fund as a Special Revenue Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Library Fund no longer meets the definition of a Special Revenue Fund, therefore, Ordinances 13-1030 must be amended.
BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:
Section 1. Amends Ordinances 13-1030 Ratifying Resolution 06-16-80 that Established the Library Advisory Board to remove the Special Revenue Fund designation.
Section 2. "The terms and provisions of this ordinance are severable. If any part or portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, void, or unconstitutional, that portion shall be deemed severed, and the remaining portions of the ordinance shall remain in full force and effect."
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances, in any manner conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
