WHEREAS, beginning October 1, 2013, the City of Foley will implement once a week solid waste pick under enabling Ordinance 13-1034, and
WHEREAS, since the publication of Ordinance 13-1034, there have been numerous requests for the 64 gallon recycling carts, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase a truck load of (864) 64 gallon recycling carts from Toter in the amount of $36,118.80 to meet the requests of the residents of the City of Foley.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of 864 recycling carts from Toter.
SECTION: 2: Appropriates $36,118.80 to account 01-610-5010 in support of this action.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
