Body
 
WHEREAS, Community Development has determined that the attached list contains items that are beyond their useful life and are no longer needed by their department.
WHEREAS, Section 11-43-56 of the Code of Alabama of 1975 authorized the municipal governing body to dispose of unneeded personal property, and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with GovDeals.com to sell surplus items through the "Sellers Agreement".
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Declares the items listed on the attached list, which shall be made a permanent part of this resolution, as surplus and authorizes their disposal by the best possible means.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
