Resolution to Set a Public Hearing to Consider an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Foley, Alabama to Add Provisions Pertaining to the Licensing of the Sale of Consumable Hemp Products in the Corporate Limits and Police Jurisdiction of the City of Foley

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, has determined that it is necessary and proper to consider amendments to Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Foley, Alabama, to establish provisions pertaining to the licensing of the sale of consumable hemp products within the corporate limits and police jurisdiction of the City of Foley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, deems it necessary and proper to set a public hearing to receive comments and consider an ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Foley, Alabama, regarding the licensing and regulation of consumable hemp products.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Sets a public hearing to consider an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Foley, Alabama, to Add Provisions Pertaining to the Licensing of the Sale of Consumable Hemp Products in the Corporate Limits and Police Jurisdiction of the City of Foley.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
