Micah Wright with the Foley United Methodist Church is requesting the use of Pine Street Park on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00am - 1:00pm to set up a single table with a tailgate tent before, during and after the Foley Mardi Gras Parade to hand out free water, coffee and hot chocolate as a show of support for the community. They will not evangelize, proselytize or otherwise solicit anything from community members.

WHEREAS, Micah Wright with the Foley United Methodist Church is requesting the use of Pine Street Park on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00am - 1:00pm to set up a single table with a tailgate tent before, during and after the Foley Mardi Gras Parade to hand out free water, coffee and hot chocolate as a show of support for the community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the use of Pine Street Park on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00am - 1:00pm to set up a single table with a tailgate tent before, during and after the Foley Mardi Gras Parade to hand out free water, coffee and hot chocolate as a show of support for the community. .
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon it's adoption as required by law.
