WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing Monday, August 19, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. to hear objections and other public comments on the matter of declaring the building structure located at 1810 S. Cedar St. in Foley, Alabama in violation of the City's Repair and Demolition of Dilapidated Buildings and Structures that Constitute a Public Nuisance Ordinance 1076-08 and amending Ordinance 19-2019.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:
                     Authorizes employees to enter upon the property at 1810 S. Cedar St. Foley, AL., for the purpose of abating the public nuisance.
SECTION 2:
                     A complete record of the cost of abating the nuisance shall be kept and a total cost shall be rendered to the City Council at a meeting following the work. The itemized cost will be posted on the Council Chamber doors at least five days before the report is rendered. The Council shall take action to immediately collect or establish a lien against the property as prescribed in the State of Alabama Code.

SECTION 3:                     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
