A Resolution Appropriating Additional Funds for Two (2) Sidewalk Projects.
Summary
Council approved RES 24-1170, which appropriated funds for 4 sidewalk projects within the city. Two of the projects entailed more square footage and obstructions than originally estimated. Street Department is requesting an additional $11,735.50 to complete these projects. Street Department has received an estimate from James Brothers Excavating for the following projects:
Foley High School Project in the amount of $40,044.29, but due to oak trees an additional $8,008.00 is needed.
Mathis Elementary School Project in the amount of $23,962.50, but in order to match the width of existing sidewalks an additional $3,727.50 is needed.
