The Foley Woman’s Club, which played an integral role in establishing the library, dissolved in 2023 and donated $19,200 to the library. Resolution No. 24-1041 previously accepted these funds and designated them for future use, with the understanding that a subsequent resolution would determine their specific purpose. With the new library nearing completion, it is now proposed that these funds be used to purchase equipment to support the development of the Sensory Room within the facility. In recognition of the Club’s generous contribution, it is further requested that this space be named the Foley Woman’s Club Sensory Nook.
