A Resolution Approving Submission of a Project to the Highway Safety Improvement Program Call for Projects
Summary
ALDOT has issued a call for projects for the HSIP (Safety) Program. The Engineering Department requests Council's permission to submit the Pride Boulevard Improvements to ALDOT's call for projects. All projects must be submitted prior to October 1, 2024. Thompson Engineering is working to assist the City with this submission.

WHEREAS, ALDOT has issued a call for projects for the HSIP (Safety) Program, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department requests Council's permission to submit the Pride Boulevard Improvements to ALDOT's call for projects, and
WHEREAS, all projects must be submitted prior to October 1, 2024.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request from City of Foley Engineering Department to submit the Pride Boulevard Improvements to ALDOT's call for projects.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the Engineering Department to work with Thompson Engineering on the project submittal.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
