The City of Foley wishes to deed parcel one of the Wilson Pecan property Minor Subdivision to the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative District. A portion of the parcel will be used for the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FOLEY, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby found, established and declared that certain real property, which is located in Baldwin County, Alabama, and which is described below, is no longer needed for public or municipal purposes, to wit:
Parcel 1 of the Wilson Pecan Property minor Subdivision recorded on Slide 2434-A, Instrument Number 1225366, Baldwin County Probate Records.
Section 2. It is hereby found, established and declared that the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative District, which desires to acquire said real property for purposes of industrial development and expansion, will serve a public purpose and will serve the best interests of the public and the City of Foley by improving and leasing said property.
Section 3. It is hereby found, established and declared to be in the best interest of the public and the City of Foley, Alabama to transfer and convey said real property to the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative District for the use of the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative District in exchange for whatever rents or proceeds the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative District receives from the lease or sale of the above described property.
Section 4. That, pursuant to the authority granted by Section 11-47-20, Code of Alabama, the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and attest a deed conveying title to said property to the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative Dis...
