The City owns a property ( new fire station) within the Glenlakes area.  The Glenlakes HOA is involved in a lawsuit with Baldwin County Sewer Services regarding tap fees and monthly service fees.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley owns property that is effected by a lawsuit brought against Baldwin County Sewer by the Glenlakes Homeowners Association regarding tap fees and monthly service fees, and
WHEREAS, the City has a standing in the lawsuit and the City of Foley Council believes it to be in the best interest of the City to engage in the lawsuit at a cost not to excced $2,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       Appropriates an amount not to exceed $2,000 under Account No. 01-620-3020 for the purpose of legal fees and approves the City moving forward to engage in the lawsuit against Baldwin County Sewer by the Glenlakes Homeowners Association.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
