WHEREAS, the Street Department and Sanitation Department have both budgeted $9,500.00 for a new gator in Account #01-607-7010 and #01-611-7010, and,
WHEREAS, The State of Alabama Department of Examiners of Public Accounts has approved the purchase of items bid by the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), and,
WHEREAS, John Deere has been awarded a contract by NJPA which includes the gator model that is needed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of two gators as budgeted from Foley Implement Company, Inc. through John Deere's NJPA contract in the amount of $8,786.60 each.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
