WHEREAS, due to the record rain event of April 29, 2014, FEMA Event #4176-DR-AL, the culvert located at Clubhouse Drive failed and is in need of repairs, and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited and publicly opened sealed bids on June 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. for the Clubhouse Drive culvert repairs and the results are as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves and accepts awarding the lowest responsible bid for Clubhouse Drive culvert repairs to R&S Paving & Grading, Inc. in the amount of $57,911.00, and amends Account No. 01-660-8300 accordingly.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
