WHREAS, Resolution 17-1187 appropriated funds for the purchase of a trackless train in the prior fiscal year and that funding expired September 30th, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, bids were solicited and received on October 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. for a trackless train for the Foley Depot Museum and Model Train Exhibit; and,
WHEREAS, a single bid was received in the amount of $44,500 from True American Classics Inc., and,
WHEREAS, True American Classics Inc. requires a 60% non-refundable deposit at the time of order in the amount of $26,700, and,
