The second order of business is to elect the President Pro Tempore.
Body
WHEREAS, in cities where the population is over 12,000 it is required that the Council of a municipality elect a President Pro Temp to carry out the duties of the City of Foley in the absence of the President.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama at its organizational meeting this 3rd day of November, 2025, that Charles Ebert, III be, and he is hereby elected as President Pro Temp during the 2025 - 2029 term of office to serve in the absence of the President.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President Pro Temp above named will be bonded in accordance with the law, and shall be authorized to sign documents as Mayor Pro Temp on behalf of the City of Foley.
