Nature Parks Request: With the unexpected growth to the events and the expansion of the Nature Parks, the workload of the Permanent Part-Time Event Coordinator has increased substantially. This position manages events, nature park marketing and rentals. The request is to convert this position to a Permanent Full-Time Events Coordinator beginning third quarter. This action will require an amendment to the pay classification plan and an increase to the FY22 budget.
Environmental Dept Request: There is a need to add a temporary full-time Environmental Clerk due to increasing permits and city-mandated permit requirements. This temporary position would also take complaints, complete office filing and other administrative duties to fill in gaps where other personnel cannot complete. This action will require an increase to the FY22 budget
