WHEREAS, Pastor Juanita Houston is requesting the use of Beulah Heights Park to host a Worship In the Heights Community Event on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9am - 7pm. This event will be open to the public.
WHEREAS, They will have live music, tents, grill hot dogs and hamburgers, and worship for the community to participate. They will supply their own sound equipment.
WHEREAS, They are requesting that we provide extra picnic tables and trash cans.
WHEREAS, they are requesting all fees to be waived.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves waiving the fees for Pastor Juanita Houston is requesting the use of Beulah Heights Park to host a Worship In the Heights Community Event on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9am - 7pm. This event will be open to the public.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
