To accommodate the changing needs of the Public Works and Street Departments, the position of Part-Time Street Laborer needs to be eliminated and the position of Part-Time Equipment Operator I needs to be increased by two slots. The position of Equipment Operator I (Grade 60) needs to be decreased by two slots and the position of Equipment Operator I Construction Maintenance (Grade 70) need to be increased by two slots. The current position of Administrative III (Grade 80) in the Public Works Department needs to be converted and to an Administrative Assistant I (Grade 60). These are budget neutral items.
