WHEREAS, The City of Foley received a complaint of overgrowth of grass and weeds at the vacant lots in Iberville Square owned by Crossroads, LLC,
WHEREAS, The City enforces Ordinance No. 1095-09 Regarding the Clearing and Maintenance of Lots that Constitute a Public Nuisance,
WHEREAS, The City documented a violation of Ordinance No. 1095-09 Regarding the Clearing and Maintenance of Lots that Constitute a Public Nuisance,
WHEREAS,  A letter notifying the property owner was mailed on February 4, 2013 requiring the nuisance to be abated within ten days of receipt of the notice,
WHEREAS, The Violation was not resolved as of March 5, 2013.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       The City Council finds and declares that Crossroads, LLC is in violation of the City of Foley Ordinance No. 1095-09 which requires maintenance of grass and weeds and orders the abatement of the public nuisance.  Failure to abate the public nuisance may result in the City abating the nuisance and placing a lien for expenses  against the properties.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
