WHEREAS, the City of Foley solicited bids and publicly opened them on May 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. for a Solar Screen System for the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market and the bids were as follows:

WHEREAS, Budget Blinds submitted the lowest bid in the amount of $37,965.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Accepts the bid submitted by Budget Blinds in the amount of $37,965.00 for a solar screen system for the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market and appropriates funds to Account No. 12-665-7335 (USDA/Equipment for FFM); This is reimbursable through the USDA RBEG grant.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
