Title

Discussion of Pickleball Complex Proposal

Summary

Bob Webb and a group of investors would like to request using 700' (W-E) x 500' (N-S) contiguous to Stabler Ave. in the Northeast corner above the Farmers Market. (700' south boundary would be the existing boundary line at Farmers Market, extended west)

The parcel defined above gives us space for:

Phase I - Restaurant, Pro Shop, Restrooms, Outdoor Bar, Storage located near the north boundary line, 16 Pickleball Courts, 4 Bocce Courts, and 1 acre of parking-150 spaces.

Phase II - 8 Pickleball Courts, 1 acre of parking parking -150 additional spaces-could be shared with Farmers Market)

Phase III - 8 Pickleball Courts, 4 Bocce Courts, 2 Lighted Center-Court Pickleball Courts

They would also have enough green space space for Cornhole and Washers (lawn games) for those waiting to get on the Pickleball Courts. The Facility could also host Cornhole and Washer Tournaments.

They would increase the size of the retention pond area and clean it up (remove cattails, etc)

They anticipate using metal buildings w/wainscoting on the street side (Stabler Ave.) and City of Foley colors for the buildings and for court colors. The perimeter of the facility will be fenced (8' forest green vinyl clad). The courts will be fenced in 6' forest green vinyl clad.

The attached document has the layout of the facility.
