A Resolution Authorizing Advertisement of Request for Proposals for Disaster Recovery Consulting Services

 

Summary

The City of Foley requests to seek proposals from firms to provide disaster recovery consulting services. Services are to include but not limited to public adjusting services, technical, administrative and training support to assist the Consortium with damage assessment, disaster recovery, project estimation, FEMA force account and small and large project document assembly, and Federal Procurement requirements review, grant procurement and administration, etc. Work will include working with federal agencies, state agencies, and local governments.

 

Body

     WHEREAS, the City of Foley requests to seek proposals from firms to provide disaster recovery consulting services, and

 

     WHEREAS, services are to include but not limited to public adjusting services, technical, administrative and training support to assist the Consortium with damage assessment, disaster recovery, project estimation, FEMA force account and small and large project document assembly, and Federal Procurement requirements review, grant procurement and administration, etc., and

 

     WHEREAS, work will include working with federal agencies, state agencies, and local governments.

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1: City of Foley authorizes the placement of appropriate advertisements soliciting Request for Proposals from qualified disaster recovery consulting service providers.

                     

     SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
