Summary
The Nature Parks Department requested Council permission on 26-1131-RES to apply for the FY26 Legislative Event Grant that was submitted on behalf of the City of Foley by Representative Francis Holk-Jones. The City of Foley's Haunted Forest & Spooky Express Halloween event has been awarded a $2,600 grant with no matching funds required. These funds will be used for event operations. The grant will be included in the FY27 budget. No budget adjustment is necessary at this time.
