A Resolution Requesting Permission to Bid the Replacement and Upgrades to the Dugout Roof Structures at Mel Roberts Park.
Summary
Parks and Recreation is requesting permission to bid and award the replacement and upgrades to the dugout roofs at Mel Roberts Park. The existing wood structures are rotting and deteriorating and have become a safety concern. The scope of the work consists of demolition and removal of the existing roof structures, installation of new posts and structures, install medal roofing panels, and enhance the fascia metal. If necessary, we'll work with a structural engineer to ensure it meets current code requirements. This work is part of the existing capital project listed as the Mel Roberts Park Improvements and we do not anticipate needing additional funding at this time.
