WHEREAS, the Fire Department has a request for a new extended cab 4x4 pickup truck for daily use by the Fire Inspector in the Capital Purchase - Fire Ad Valorem Account under 02-600-7010 in the amount of $28,000, and
WHEREAS, the new vehicle will replace a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban that has approximately 100,000 miles.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves staff going to bid on the new vehicle which is included in the FY2013 Budget in the amount of $28,000.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
