WHEREAS, bids were received by the City of Foley on July 6, 2013 to construct a fuel farm at the Foley Municipal Airport, and,
WHEREAS, Blade Construction submitted a bid in the amount of $212,978.25 and has been determined to be the lowest responsible bidder.
WHEREAS, Blade Construction did not hold the proper license classifications and was given forty-five (45) calendar days to amend their license.
WHEREAS, Blade Construction secured the proper license required for this project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Accepts the bid submitted by Blade Construction in the amount of $212,978.25 for the construction of a fuel farm at the Foley Municipal Airport and appropriates funds to Account 12-665-7323 R01 BID.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
