WHEREAS, Graham Creek Preserve is a large park with items of equipment for maintenance and hauling and periodically large quantities of construction materials.
WHEREAS, the construction of a storage area and privacy fence will allow for a reduction in mobilization costs and time as well as providing a secure location for the storage of materials for various projects.
WHEREAS, Heard Roofing and Construction Company has submitted a proposal to construct the storage area and privacy fence at a cost of $9,325
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the proposal from Heard Roofing and Construction Company for $9,325 for the construction of a storage area and privacy fence from Account 01-620-7040 budgeted at $7,500 and approves the transfer of $1,825 from Disc Golf Baskets, Signage & Tee Pads to Equipment Storage Area & Privacy Fence.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
